On 25 October, the Uzbekistan Airways has planned a transition to winter schedule.

Uzbekistan Airways Schedule Changed to Winter 2009-2010

Compared with summer one, the schedule named "Winter 2009-2010" has a number of changes.

• To New York and Rome Uzbekistan Airways will performe one flight a week.
• To Istanbul, as well as in the summer schedule, five frequencies remains. However, one of the flights will be moved from Sunday to Wednesday.
• Flights to Delhi and Amritsar had merged. So, on Tuesdays flights Tashkent-Delhi-Amritsar-Tashkent will be operated, and on Saturdays - Tashkent-Amritsar-Delhi-Tashkent.
• Added another frequency (on the fifth day of the week) for the direction Tashkent-Kuala Lumpur-Tashkent. Thus, the aircraft of Uzbekistan Airways during the winter navigation will operate flights to Kuala Lumpur three times a week.
• From December 1 in the list of cities where the Uzbekistan Airways' planes are flying will be included Birmingham. On Tuesdays, aircraft of Uzbekistan Airways will operate flights on the route Tashkent-London-Birmingham-Tashkent, and on Fridays - Tashkent-Birmingham-London-Tashkent.
• Continue operations of two cargo aircrafts A300-600. In accordance with a development plan, in addition to flights from the airport Navoi in Bombay, Delhi and Bangkok, from October 2, three times a week will be operated flights to Frankfurt.
• The opening of regular cargo flights of aircraft A300-600 in Amsterdam also planned.
• In November and December will be held Haj-program. From 8 to 17 November aircraft of Uzbekistan Airways with pilgrims on board will carry out 25 charter flights from Tashkent, Urgench, Bukhara, Namangan and Termez to Medina. From 2 to 10 December there will be 25 implemented return flights from Medina to Uzbekistan.

All regional centers of the Uzbekistan Republic still remain connected by direct flights with Moscow and other large cities of Russia.

The Uzbekistan Airways Winter Schedule is valid until March 27, 2010.
